  damn....october 1, 2022 already upon us!

  yesterday's jw annual meeting was held without a word...without any prior mention of it.

  anyone on this forum attend the event supposedly held via zoom?

  evidently all the resources are tied up making their next movie.

  Remember the good samaritan? He had to go through channels and follow careful direction. Meanwhile the victim bled out.

  Social Media is facing the First Amendment in the US.

  law makers in the us want to pass laws that apply the first amendment of the us constitution to social media forums such as tiktok and youtube that have banned poster for speech and content violations.. in the us, 1a usually applies unhindered to traditional public forums (such as sidewalks and parks) with restrictions only as to time place and manner..

  The public air waves, infrastructure built through public rights of way correspond to public sidewalks. There is only so much bandwidth, my city allows only one cable company.

  More money and meeting with 3 elders

  so, we had this meeting with 3 elders ( larry, moe and curly) my uncle who is the lawyer sat in the room and stayed quiet, and fact for 40 minutes we let them talk.

  we would just sit there.

  they went into along winded monolog about how the world is in bad shape and getting worst.

  15 years ago there were 5 congregations now there is only one and it is still struggling.

  congregations closing their doors doesn’t mean business is good.

  it looks like this last one to fold had no young witnesses, they either left the religion or moved.

  I Work in a hospital 17 years religious reality death check!!

  so 17 years in a hospital alot of ptsd...i sometimes go the prayer room and read the prayers of family members who i know later the loved one died anyway.

  Tell them you are doing independent research and you will be told to limit your research to watchtower publications.

  They take popular subjects being commented on by churches and plagiarize it. I did extra reading on the fornication root word which was just additional materialfrom their sources and got squelched
